Privacy Policy
This site gathers information in three ways and uses it as follows:
- We do not gather data on individuals but do on aggregate visit data such as country of origin, number of visits and pages, referrers, and destinations after visits. We do not disclose this data. This data is gathered by WordPress/Automattic and their privacy policy (and some description of what they gather) is here.
- We collect email addresses and names (real or fictitious in both cases) for those who comment on our site. We do not disclose this data either. If you want your comments and data scrubbed from the site, let us know and we will do our best to comply with your request.
- For those of you who use the contact form, you give us your name and email address. Unless otherwise disclosed on the contact form, we do not disclose that information or the content of the form.
Our sites are not about gathering private information for subsequent use. We do not do email lists or ecommerce (we let others handle that, see below.) Some of our posts and pages feature YouTube videos and Google is always nosy, so be aware of that.
WordPress/Automattic handle the storage of our data and its security from attack.
